Superheat

Superheat refers to the number of degrees a vapor is above its saturation temperature (boiling point) at a particular pressure.

When a liquid boils at a temperature of 80 degrees and the resulting vapour increases in temperature superheat has been added.  If this liquid was turned to a vapor at 80 degrees and then the vapor increased in temperature to 90 degrees, then it has been superheated by 10 degrees.
